Based in Germany, febit offers a full array of genomic research tools, including instruments, services and synthetic genes. Well respected in Europe, febit needed to make a name for itself when it opened an office in the Boston area with the intention of marketing its microarray technologies to U.S. researchers.

Russo Partners built febit’s U.S. profile by developing the company’s messaging and positioning statements, creating new communications tools and launching media relations initiatives to introduce febit to researchers. Embracing Web 2.0 communications tools, Russo Partners built a global community of febit followers through the introduction of Webinars led by the company’s Chief Scientific Officer and hosted online discussions with prominent genomics researchers.

The result is greatly increased visibility for febit, both in the U.S. and worldwide, and febit’s U.S. sales force reports increased numbers as a result of an educated audience.
